Cynthia Nickel Baker, allied member ASID, has been active in the practice of interior design since 1981, both residential and commercial. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with a specialization in interior design, from Missouri State University.

She has been employed by and co-owned several prestigious design firms in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Since launching her own firm, CJ Designs in 1994, Cindy has been the creative force on hundreds of new homes, renovations, and other design projects.

She holds an impeccable reputation as a professional designer and entrepreneur. She is also actively involved in her greater community. Cindy is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Fayetteville and a long-time member of the Board of Directors of the Arts Council of Fayetteville and Cumberland County, and a member of the LaFayette Ladyslippers. She has also served as president of Girls Just Wanna Have Funds, a local investment club.
